BE STRONG! Deuteronomy 31:6

Hello Saints of the Most High God,
Just an encouraging word the Lord gave me...a while back in my walk with Him. Hopefully it will minister to your need of being, "Strong In Him"!
Be Blessed and Enjoy your day in the Lord!
Pastor Virgil

Scripture taken from Deuteronomy 31:6, but you can read the whole chapter for edification on this matter. This is the word that God gave Moses when he was 120 years old toward the end of his ministry. He told the Children of Israel to:

1) BE STRONG
2) OF A GOOD COURAGE
3) FEAR NOT
4) NOR BE AFRAID OF THEM (the promised land adversaries)

"Be strong and of a good courage, fear not, nor be afraid of them:
For the Lord thy God, He it is that doth go with thee; He wil not fail thee, nor forsake thee". Deut. 31:6 (king james version)

Now the Lord gave this word to His people through Moses, but you can make this word personal for yourself. Daily we must recognize that as He was with the Children of Israel in their trials and tribulations pressing into the promised land, He will be with us also as we press into our present day promised land of His Blessings for our lives.

We must trust that He means what He says, when He states:

1) I will go with thee...
2) I will not fail thee...
3) I will not forsake thee...

brief definitions...of go, fail, and forsake

go - To move or travel; proceed. To move away from a place; depart.

fail - To prove deficient or lacking; perform ineffectively or inadequately. To be unsuccessful.

forsake - 1. To give up (something held dear); renounce. 2. To leave altogether; abandon.

Prayer:
Thank You Lord for your reassuring words of Love, Encouragement, and Comfort...I am empowered by your word and your presence daily...

In Jesus Name! Hallelujah!
Bless You! Pastor Virgil

PS. The Word of God also says:

"Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of His might." Ephesians 6:10, and

"for the Joy of the Lord is your strength"
Nehemiah 8:10
